The 46thsession of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) meeting convenes in Muscat, Oman.

The 77thsession of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) meeting convened at Al Irfan Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Omanon March 1, 2018 with the participation of experts, specialists and financial decision maker from some 30member countries.

President and CEO of Central Securities Depository of Iran, Mr. Hossein Fahimi, headed a delegation of representatives from CSDI to the event.


According to reports, the participants discussed activities of the European and Asian Stock Exchanges and the proposals that will be implemented during the coming period. They also discussed the Union's enhanced programs for mutual cooperation among members and the exchange of experiences on issues of mutual interest.

There, CSDI President made a brief speech to an audience of business relations and member representatives of the Federation on the occasion which drew FEAS members together as well as the overall Iran’s financial market scenario, outlook and CSDI's performance during the year.


The members, meanwhile, reviewed results of task forces and discussed recommendations and decisions related to business development.


Delegates from Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) and Iran Fara-Bourse were also present at the session.


Director General of Muscat Securities Market (MSM), Mr. Ahmed Saleh Al-Marhoon, is currently the Vice President of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchange (FEAS).


Central Securities Depository of Iran joined the executive board of the Federation in November 2016.


FEAS is a non-profit international organization connecting the main stock exchanges in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Established in 1995 with 12 founding members, the organization’s reach has expanded to 33 members and 12 affiliates from 29 countries.
