Foreign guests and speakers at the third International Conference on Industry 4.0 – Fourth Industrial Revolution – paid a preliminary visit to Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) headquarters on Wednesday July 12, 2017. The visit was aimed to provide an opportunity for the guests to a first-hand account about the ongoing and future programs and new initiatives for the development of the Iranian capital market.
During a ceremony held following a luncheon reception, the company executives gave details of the business activities of CSDI as the sole registrar, central custodian and clearing house for the Iranian financial market.
Chairman of CSDI Board of Directors, Mr. Hossein Fahimi, opened the ceremony with a welcome speech. In his remarks, the Chairman also briefed the participants on CSDI’s current activities, achievements and future plans envisaged for the Iranian capital market. He also welcomed the use of new expert ideas and approaches.
Director of the International Relations Department at CSDI, Dr. Sajjad Siahkarzadeh then took the podium where he offered the participants an introduction about the company. Dr. Siahkarzadeh, meanwhile, provided a first exclusive insight into the range of activities at CSDI and its crucial role and impact on the Iranian capital market.
In the following, Dr. Javad Jassbi, senior researcher at Nova University of Lisbon and a member to the RICS Board who also serves as senior consultant to CSDI, moderated the session and invited a number of guests to speak and hold Q&A-s a day before their participation at the international conference.
The third International Conference on Industry 4.0 – Fourth Industrial Revolution – was held at Tehran’s Milad Tower's conference hall on July 12-13, 2017, with Iran’s Minister of Information and communications technology (ICT) Mahmoud Vaezi in attendance.
