Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) has signed a contract with Tehran Post Co. in a bid to increase services to shareholders, CSDI public relations department reported.
In a meeting co-chaired by CSDI chief Dr. Mohammad-Reza Mohseni and Managing-Director of Tehran Post Co. Ali-Akbar Hadavi, the two sides explored ways for enhanced cooperation.
Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Mohseni underlined that one of the main agendas of CSDI this year is to increase rendering services to shareholders. He said that with cooperation between CSDI and Tehran Post Company, major steps can be taken in this regard.
In an effort to eliminate paper certificates, more than 10 million electronic certificates were issued in the capital market, he said expressing hope that rendering electronic services to shareholders would increase.
CSDI chief said that governmental e-service offices and brokerage firms will be more active this year to help the process of rendering services to shareholders across the country.
